Shekel continues to be heart healthy and has retired to the arms of Janice Beck in Michigan where she visits China, her daughter, at the home of Linda Dupuy, Heartsong Cavaliers, USA.

As healthy as Shekel has been over the years, none of us can predict the big C.  Shekel came down with a rapidly spreading cancer of the throat from which she finally succumbed.  Just as Janice welcomed her with open arms, she allowed her to leave her arms when Shekel could no longer fight her cancer.  Rest in Peace, sweet girl.
